On January 20th and 21st a film crew from the Profiles Series spent a day at On With Life at Ankeny and a day at On With Life at Glenwood. The episode will be appearing sometime in March 2010 in recognition of Brain Injury Awareness Month. On With Life provides a wide spectrum of services for individuals with brain injury. From long term skilled for youth and younger adults at On With Life at Glenwood to adolescents and adults, inpatient and outpatient services at On With Life at Ankeny to Supported Community Living throughout Central Iowa and Independent Living Housing in Ankeny, we’re able to provide services to those with mild, moderate, and severe brain injury…and yes, even persons in a minimally conscious state and those with complex medical issues.On With Life boasts very high staff-to-patient ratios ---- that means the people we serve receive more hours of therapy and nursing from qualified specialists. We were created by family members of persons with a brain injury and we work hard every single day to stay true to their vision.
